It is clear that the president’s strategy is failing disastrously.
Since 2010, total fatalities from armed conflict in the world have increased by a factor of close to four, according to data from the International Institute of Strategic Studies. Total fatalities due to terrorism have risen nearly sixfold, based on the University of Maryland’s Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism database. Nearly all this violence is concentrated in a swath of territory stretching from North Africa through the Middle East to Afghanistan and Pakistan. And there is every reason to expect the violence to escalate as the Sunni powers of the region seek to prevent Iran from establishing itself as the post-American hegemon.

This is incredibly bad for the country and very embarrassing for Ms. Clinton and Mr. Obama. Basically, the State department has just said that Ms. Clinton is:
- lying about turning over all relevant emails,
- is withholding information from the American people,
- throws into question each and every statement she has made regarding Benghazi.
The issue is not just that she had a private email server. The issue is that an employee of hers at the time went on TV to repeatedly give an incorrect narrative in the attacks on US personnel in Libya. If Ms. Clinton knew a different version at the time of those statements, then the Obama administration would also be guilty of lying to the people. The natural conclusion is that the administration lied for pure political gains. Mr. Obama was up for re-election just a few weeks later.

This is tough. I feel immensely sorry for this couple for losing their son. I am sure all of us hope we never have to bear this level of burden. I pray for peace for this family.
I cannot support their request though as there are a few people that I feel would be worse as POTUS than Mr. Obama. One of those individuals happens to be Joe Biden. The resignation of Mr. Obama would only give us President Biden and that is a terrible thought.
I saw this story several places but am specifically referencing Washington Times.
Billy and Karen Vaughn — who lost their SEAL son Aaron Carson Vaugh in 2011 — said they’re sick and tired of hearing the president’s monotone press conferences, absent any emotion, and frustrated with his inability to confront the Islamic State

This is getting bad. We really need a special investigator to be named on the issue of the IRS targeting certain groups. It now “appears” that there was coordination between the IRS and FEC (Federal Election Commission). It seems like every week there is another “Oh by the way, we found another potential abuse of power” story. If you like to read the NY Times, Washington Post, or CNN you may not be seeing these stories but they make the largest paper in the US, The Wall Street Journal.
So it now “appears” that the FEC did an illegal investigation of a couple of groups at the request of the Obama administration. The FEC went outside of its charter and coordinated this investigation with the IRS and the IRS fed them information that “appears” to be illegally shared.

If you pay attention to the news, you have heard Warren Buffet claim that he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary. This pronouncement has prompted President Barack Hussein Obama to propose new taxes, affectionately nicknamed “Buffet taxes” or the “Buffet Rule.”
The “Buffet Rule” is going to get a lot of press attention in the coming weeks and it will get more attention if Mitt Romney successfully wins the nomination of the Republican Party.
At this writing, Mitt Romney is running for the Republican nomination and at some time he is probably going to have to divulge his finances more fully than he has already. Mr. Romney doesn’t appear to have a wage-earning job, therefore, his daily spending on clothes, food, mortgage, and hair-styling products comes from interest, capital gains, or dividend income from his earned fortune. It appears that Mr. Romney paid less than 15% on his income where a wage earner would pay a much higher rate.

The massive mid-term election of 2010 is now over. My phone won’t ring 25 times today with some computer imploring me to vote for one candidate over another. The signs that are all along the streets in my town can come down (hopefully the candidates come out and clean up their mess). Life can now go back to some sort of normal.
The Republicans evidently picked up approximately 60 seats in the House of Representatives. They also made major increases in the Senate and that house appears to be split nearly 50/50 (the exact count probably won’t be known for a couple days as Alaska will probably take a while to count due to the write-in candidate).
