Healthcare for illegals

First, let me be clear, I think that Rep. Wilson of South Carolina should be censured for his outburst while President Barack Hussein Obama was speaking in a joint session of Congress. He reminds of irresponsible brats such as Kanye West. Public outbursts while the President is speaking are simply unacceptable in any format and definitely not allowed in a joint session of Congress.

I do think that it is interesting that the rude outburst occurred due to a statement from regarding for illegal aliens. There is a reasonable argument that , while perhaps not lying, was not telling the complete truth. Check out this interesting below and then read the rest of my comments.

What’s the big deal about Kanye West and Taylor Swift?

I have always known that Kanye West was a jerk.  Why is it such a surprise that he was a complete jerk and idiot for going on stage with Taylor Swift? Does anyone really expect this imbecile to have good manners?

After all, when we have Congressman yelling “You lie!” during a Presidential address to the joint session of Congress, why would we expect a dumb rapper to have better manners?

Of course, hats off to the beautiful Beyonce for giving up some of her time to honor Ms. Swift.  She has shown the world that she has class (and Kanye and Representative Joe Wilson are classless).

I have an idea!

  • If you are in South Carolina – don’t vote for Joe Wilson and donate generously to his opponent
  • If you want to listen to – buy something from Taylor Swift or Beyonce

Don’t ever forget – September 11, 2001

8 years ago today, nearly 3,000 innocent civilians were murdered by terrorists. These people were chosen only because they were on American soil. They did nothing wrong. The world changed a great deal on that day. Many of us will never forget that horrible day.

I agree until I disagree – Senator John Kerry

We are all familiar with the famous quote by Senator Kerry: “I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it.”  Now it seems that Mr. Kerry has had another opportunity to change his mind.  He is now in favor of Governors of States to appoint an individual to fill an open seat.

Four or five years ago, Senator Kerry was concerned that his seat would be open if the USA would have been foolish enough to vote this weak-spine individual to the office of the President of the United States.  At that time, he supported Senator Kennedy’s successful efforts to change Massachusetts state law regarding the filling of Senate seats.

I do not live in Massachusetts.  I have no vote there and my opinion on their local should have little weight.  However, aren’t the good residents of Massachusetts tired of flip-flop Kerry?  Please remove him from our national agony and get him out of office.  Surely, there is another good that your beautiful and important state can find.

Baby frog

We have a small ornamental in our backyard.  A couple of frogs have been making it their home since my daughter brought home tadpoles years ago when she was in 2nd grade (she is driving now – how time flies). Our patio beside this is almost always mosquito free and I credit our frogs for this (along with the 4 dozen fish in the that voraciously eat mosquito larvae).

Evidently, they were feeling a bit frisky lately since we now have 4 baby frogs sitting on the lillypads on a regular basis.  Here is a picture one of them. He is much better looking than the Jabba the Hut toad that I read about on a friend’s blog!

It is probably difficult to tell but this little guy is well under 2 inches long as he sits there.  The pad that he is on is 4-5 inches in diameter.
