I keep hearing that if you give money to poor people you're wasting effort. I don't believe that's true. What if we turned it around and gave a signifigant amount of money to the poorest of people and go up. I'm a low-income person. With enough money, I could buy a car. Which would need gas, insurance, and maintenance. Then I would be able go more places, spend more money, etc. Then maybe I could find a job and buy a house. More money to spend. The money would trickle up into improving the economy. Give it to the rich, greedy people, who don't need to spend it, and it will never trickle down. I agree with what you’re saying.
